The Story Behind The Painting!

Good Day Family!

I pray each of you had a wonderful and blessed Easter! We had a amazing day first our Easter service, then spent time with our families! God is so good!!

A few weeks back a dear friend of mine posted on Facebook about a painting class she was going to have and I signed up. I was excited to try my hand at it!! Well the day came for the class. I got up and got things done and lined up so I would be ready to go. Then I received some news that kind a bummed me out. I started to think do I really want to go to the painting class or just stay home. Well that's when God stepped in He said are you really going to allow this to hold you back from trying and enjoying this class? So I was like Father, You are right as always, I get to choose my reaction! If I decided to stay home I would have most likely just wallowed in the fact of the news, but if I went I would be choosing to live life according to His word of a happy and abundant life. Philippians 4:10-13 and John 10:10.

Psalm 16:11 NKJV

"You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore."

So I went to the class and painted this beautiful sunflower. Also met the sister of someone who is in Legacy Academy of Kingdom Living with me. After the class was over I got to spend some time chatting with my friend who was teaching the class, and during all this I was at peace despite the news I had receive earlier that day. When I came home and showed my family the sunflower painting they said how nice it looked! So every time I see this sunflower painting of mine it will remind me God is good and works everything out for good. He will lead me through and as He is leading my mind is being renewed!

The pattern of our world today is to let everything going on around us to control our mind and emotions, but we are called to so much more! We can choose to be happy while speaking His Kingdom and truth into every area of our life. God is working and moving when we can see it. Just like this painting when you just look at it hanging on a wall you don't know the story or emotion behind it, until it is shared. You are God's masterpiece now!!
